We will explore the unique structure and poetic devices employed in the first kinnah of "Sefer Hakinnot" (i.e. Megillat Eicha) as the persona of Yerushalayim is brought to life through her loneliness, anguish and shame. This will set the scene for the ensuing kinnot as we appreciate the music of despair and the attempts of the poet to elicit particular sentiments from his post-churban audience...and from Hashem
