Herzog College’s Yemei Iyun b’Tanakh – Bible Study Days 5785/2025
Sunday through Thursday July 27th-31st (2-6 Menachem Av). English Lectures on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and an English Tanakh Tour on Thursday.
The Yemei Iyun this year will offer a number of different programs in Hebrew and in English:
In-person lectures: A large selection of lectures in Hebrew will be offered on each day of the Yemei Iyun in Alon Shvut Lectures in English will be offered in-person in Alon Shvut on Sunday, July 27th & Tuesday, July 29th A special program in English – focusing on educational issues but open to the public – will take place on Monday, July 28th in Alon Shvut.
Siyurim (tours): One siyur in English will be offered on Thursday, July 31st during the week of the Yemei Iyun.
Virtual program: As part of the Yemei Iyun we offer both a Hebrew and an English online, virtual program For the online English-language program we have pre-recorded several lectures and two virtual siyuirim. In addition, those who register for the English language program will also receive access to all of the English lectures that will be taking place live at Herzog College this year. The recordings of the live lectures will be filmed and made available a few days after the event.
For the online Hebrew-language program, we have also pre-recorded a number of lectures and siyurim. In addition, those who register for the Hebrew program will recieve recordings of a number of the lectures that will be taking place live at Herzog College in Alon Shvut, a few days after the event..
All participants in the Yemei Iyun will receive links to Hurban-related lectures and tours appropriate for viewing on Tisha b’Av in both Hebrew and English. All on-line programs that you purchase will be available both during and after the week of the Yemei Iyun. The Yemei Iyun b’Tanakh offer an outstanding opportunity to support the work of Herzog College.
A contribution of 1,300 NIS / $360 grants full access to the Yemei Iyun’s virtual program.
A contribution of 6,000 NIS / $1,800 includes dedication of one of the Yemei Iyun lectures.
